MAR 23 2025 - Sunday
Oh, it has been a while! A lot has happened this past month.

Everything went great with the apartment inspection. I'm almost certain I'm getting my deposit back, I just need to wait a few weeks until the last utility bills are paid off. Fingers crossed. It's not a lot of money, but I could really use it.

I went back to work after my holidays. It has been a bit hectic, but at this point, I'm just used to it. I got a raise, not as much as I expected, but it works.

Oh, I also started teaching! I'm a TA at my old university, teaching a class called 'Fundamentals of Sociology' to Psychology majors. I'm extremely nervous and I feel really challenged, but I found out I actually like teaching. Who'd have known?

Of course, this means I haven't been gaming as much as I'd like to. I played a bit of Monster Hunter Wilds and it was entertaining. I like the sort of open worldness of the new installment, but it's still a MH game at heart... and I always end up not finishing them. I also bought two games during the PS Store sale - NiER Automata, that I already have on PC but I wanted to play it on PS5, and the Silent Hill 2 Remake. I admit I haven't even started that one yet, it scares me a bit. But hey, a deal is a deal.

Oh, yeah. I went to two concerts this week. I went to see Garbage on Tuesday, it was really good. I saw them live on 2017 and I was really looking forward to this show. Shirley is amazing. And last night I went to see one of Argentina's greatest singers, Valeria Lynch. It was OUTSTANDING. If you like powerful songs and female voices, you should check her out.

FEB 27 2025 - Thursday
I spent the last few weeks doing some renovation work in my old apartment. I have an inspection tomorrow with the realtors and my landlord and that's it, I'm free from that place. I'm not getting my deposit back, I know that, but I wanted to leave the place looking as good as possible. My dad helped me a lot these past few weeks and I'm really grateful. I return to work next Wednesday and I feel like I haven't rested anything during my time off.

Apart from that, I painted a few things in my new place. Everything is renter friendly, so I won't have many problems by the time I have to move out. I am obsessed with the tone of yellow I used. It makes me really happy.

FEB 16 2025
Today we went with Sabu to a really nice café in my new neighborhood to have a chat and also to work on our sites. This has turned out to be quite a nice and relaxing hobby. As Sabu says, this is really comforting for our inner preadolescent who used to see pages like these and always wanted to try and have one. And even though we had blogs, they were never quite like these sort of pages.



After our little afternook playdate, I came home and finished setting up a chest of drawers that I got for my new studio flat. I moved a few weeks ago from a 1 bedroom apartment into a studio apartment and I've been learning to be better at managing storing spaces. Don't get me wrong, I adore this new place. It's almost the same square footage, only without some walls, and it's got plenty of sunlight, which my previous apartment didn't have, and my cats seem really happy. I just need to declutter a bit.

Oh! I also bought an airfryer. I'm obsessed!


I don't know why it took me this long to get one. I've been only cooking things like fries and nuggets, but I'll learn some recipes and let you all know.
